1. Quantity matters - the more you order, the more you save.
2. Each color printed  adds to the cost, so the fewer colors, the less expensive.
3. The more areas printed on an item the more it will cost.
4. White blanks are generally less expensive than colored blanks.
5. Embroidery is priced by stitch count, more density of the artwork, the more stitches required.
